Don Bollmeier, CEO of Bollmeier Crane, is actively involved in day to day operations of the company. Mr. Bollmeier received his elementary and secondary education in Marissa, IL. While in school, he was active in the Boy Scouts of America and attained the rank of Eagle Scout. After graduating from Marissa High School he attended Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS. While at K-State he was selected for membership in Tau Sigma Delta, an honors fraternity in the School of Architecture. He received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the university in 1967.
Don spent fifteen years as a job superintendent for Bollmeier Construction, primarily working on erection and repair of coal mine facilities, infrastructure and large mining machinery in Illinois and Indiana. When construction in the mining industry slowed, he and his wife Dorothy founded Bollmeier Crane in 1985. The company was incorporated as Bollmeier, Inc. in 1987. Don is no longer affiliated with Bollmeier Construction.
Don and his wife Dorothy have been married 44 years, and reside in Marissa, IL. Both are avid sailors and have earned their American Sailing Association Coastal Cruising Certificates. They enjoy sailing in the BVI, Croatia, canal boating in Europe, ballroom dancing, gardening and grandchildren
Jeremy has been employed by Bollmeier Crane since April, 2004, most recently serving as its Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer.
A CPA, Jeremy received his license to practice Law within the State of Illinois in April of 2010.
He completed his Juris Doctor – Concentrations in Taxation and Business Transactions at St. Louis University School of Law in December of last year. Other degrees included a BBA (Bachelor’s of Business Administration) with a Major in Accounting and a Minor in Finance from McKendree College; Lebanon, IL and A Master’s of Accountancy (Specialization in Taxation) from Southern Illinois University; Carbondale, IL.
Jeremy, his wife Pam and daughter Laney reside in Okawville, IL
As our Director of Operations, Don Robinson brings a wealth of experience and skill to his position with Bollmeier Crane. He has spent over thirty years working in various fields of construction, including work as a supervisor, estimator and job superintendent. He is a certified welder, experienced ironworker, and has worked as a crane operator, lift coordinator and rigging consultant.
Prior to becoming Director of Operations for Bollmeier Crane, he served as CCO Crane Examiner, Apprentice Instructor, and MSHA Instructor for Operating Engineers Local 520.
